We had collected some ideas from the community about how to show our appreciation for our overworked hospital midwives but we wanted input from the maternity staff
We asked them and some of the ideas that came about were feeding them when they don't get time to eat on a shift!

Members of the Oxytocin Squad initially bought and delivered pizzas to the hospital maternity staff themselves. Happily, Dominos Lower Hutt came to the party and starting donating the pizzas. They even deliver them on our behalf! Thank you Rishi and your team!
At Christmas time Oxytocin Squad volunteers generously donated their own time and money to put together lovely platters for those maternity unit staff who stayed behind on the ward during the staff Christmas party.
