Your money or your time
Where there are shortfalls in what the District Health Boards or local Lead Maternity Care midwives are able to fund themselves, we aim to use your money wisely to provide support to:

those who are birthing
-
new parents
-
their midwives (and other maternity staff)
-
those breastfeeding, or offering breastfeeding support, on the hospital maternity ward and in the community

Improve Environments
Donate to improve physical environments (clinics, wards, waiting areas, whānau rooms) for birthing whānau.
Breastfeeding Support
Donate so that we can provide extra breastfeeding training and hands-on support on the maternity ward and in the community.
Baking
If you can't bake for the midwives yourself, why not donate money to someone who can!
Newborn/Mums Packs
Donate towards packs of newborn clothing, baby supplies or hygiene supplies for mums and babies in need.
Equipment
Contribute where the DHB or local midwives are unable to provide equipment to improve quality of maternity care.

Support our Trust
Donate to support the behind the scenes mahi of the Hutt Maternity Trust. Help us fulfil our strategic goals to support our community.
At the end of 2020 we were officially set up as a Charitable Trust so that we can receive donations to support Hutt Maternity. To begin with Rainey Collins Lawyers had a holding bank account for us for donations, but as of May 2021 we now have an official Hutt Maternity Action Trust bank account for your donations to support our work. Bank account details are below.
