After the public meeting on November 13th 2019 a follow up meeting of concerned community members was held on the 26th of November.
This meeting was a group of mainly mothers who had been concerned by media coverage and wanted to channel their concern into actions that would improve the situation for mums and midwives.

Sharing stories and suggestions
Mums generously shared their experiences of birthing in the Hutt, both positive and negative. We brainstormed actions and ideas that we felt might improve the experience of mothers in the future, and support and sustain the under pressure hospital midwives.
